Welcome...
The Rose and Crown was originally built in 1804. Known as the village local, as it still is with the low beams, brasses, open fire and locally brewed ales.
In 2004 the ‘Riley’ team opened its doors as Rileys @ The Rose and Crown. Customers can now enjoy a warm welcome from sisters nikki and Sam and enjoy excellent fresh food produced by our award winning chef James Riley.
The Rose and Crown retains the locals bar where you would be most welcome to come along for a drink or you may choose to come and dine with us and sit among the locals while perusing the menu, sampling the traditional ales and fine wines with the sound of dominoes rattling in the background.
The dining areas are split into three cosy rooms seating around ten to sixteen in each, you may have a romantic table for two or wanting to celebrate an occasion where we can cater for private parties up to sixteen where we would also be able to devise a menu to your requirements.
